Dear Leader,

How healthy is your company’s culture?

Cultivating cultural intelligence enables leaders to adapt and foster genuine authenticity. The future of business success depends on leaders who value people as the heart of their organizations, not just assets on a balance sheet. Organizations with weak or toxic cultures suffer from:

Higher Turnover – Gallup reports that teams with a poor culture typically experience 18 to 43 percent higher turnover than those with high employee engagement.

Employee Burnout, Inefficiencies and Poor Job Performance – When teams are required to do more with less, many burn out which leads to costly mistakes, stress/mental health issues, increased absences and disengagement.

Lack of Innovation and Creativity – It’s nearly impossible for creativity and new ideas to happen in unhealthy environments. Innovative teams flourish in cultures that are conducive for free thinking, constructive criticism and making mistakes. If people are afraid of losing their jobs or other retaliation, they’re less likely bring bold ideas to the table.

Loss of Business Due to Poor Customer Service – Toxic cultures spill over into the customer’s experience. A single negative service experience can cause a customer to leave or prompt even the most loyal client to switch to a competitor.

Helping You Leverage Your Company Culture As Your #1 KPI!

If you’re not positioning your company culture as an income-producing asset, you’re missing out! We have found that companies that see culture development as a strategic investment rather than an optional expense, profit in so many ways, here are just a few:

  • Employee Retention and Engagement: A strong company culture significantly impacts employee retention and engagement. Research from Gallup shows that companies with highly engaged employees outperform their peers by 147% in earnings per share. Meanwhile, disengaged employees cost U.S. companies up to $550 billion annually in lost productivity.
  • Improved Productivity: A healthy work environment leads to higher productivity. Studies show that happy employees are 12% more productive. In contrast, toxic cultures lead to high turnover, absenteeism, and burnout, all of which harm performance.
  • Financial Performance: Companies with a positive culture are more likely to achieve long-term financial success. According to a 2021 Harvard Business Review study, organizations with cultures that promote employee well-being experience a 21% increase in profitability.
  • Talent Attraction: Culture plays a major role in attracting top talent. The 2022 LinkedIn Global Talent Trends report found that 40% of job seekers prioritize company culture, with a strong, positive culture being a major draw for skilled professionals. Organizations that invest in culture development are better positioned to attract and retain talent.
